Launch the Statistics for Data Analysis LaunchBox from the Desktop: • In the menu on the left click on ADDITIONAL TOOLS, • On the right under LICENSE ACTIVATION STATUS click on LICENSE AUTHORIZATION WIZARD, • A panel will open where you can click on the NEXT button where the PC LOCK CODE will appear.

The lock code is a unique code that identifies the PC and is required to activate SPSS. Go to Finder -> App -> IBM SPSS Statistics folder -> "License Authorization Wizard"

The authorization code must be entered when activating SPSS. Once the installation is complete, the wizard license wizard should open automatically, if you do not open anything you can go to the Start menu -> All programs-> IBM SPSS Statistics -> License Authorization Wizard. (on Mac go to Finder -> Apps -> IBM SPSS Statistics folder -> "License Authorization Wizard") During the activation phase it is necessary: • Choose the type of license: if the license purchased is of the Authorized type, choose "Authorized user license" and click Next. • Enter the authorization code you received and click Next • On the next screen, a green message will appear in case of successful activation, red otherwise. In case of errors write to assistance@spss.it (mailto:assistenza@spss.it) inserting a screenshot of the error message. < / p> • As a further check, the list of activated modules appears on the last screen (if activation was successful).

Send an email to assistenza@spss.it (mailto:assistenza@spss.it) indicating: • Operating system • Authorization code • Screenshot of the error that appears during the activation and / or opening of SPSS.

To move SPSS to a new PC you need: • Write to attivazioni@spss.it (mailto:attivazioni@spss.it) by entering • the authorization code • lock code of the pc and requesting a license reset. • Install SPSS on the new pc • Proceed with activation by following the licensing wizard, after assistance has confirmed that the license has been restored. • Uninstall SPSS from the old PC in case it is not formatted.

It is a useful application for installing and starting Statistics for Data Analysis. It also facilitates the dissemination of information on the services included in the solution and on training courses, as well as making the related user manuals available

Launching the LaunchBox on the desktop will open the dashboard: • Click on Add-On, and on the right you will see those already installed and those not. • To proceed with the installation of the new Add-Ons, simply click on the desired icon and press the INSTALL button

To install Premium modules: • Open the LaunchBox (Statistics for Data Analysis desktop icon) • Go to the Add-Ons section • Select the one of interest, Pscore and/or Youden • Click on Install (red button at the top right of the LaunchBox. • In the dialog that opens, enter the data we sent you in the summary table https://static.wixstatic.com/media/0cff21_98a3d0c81aa44c71b1343cee9edd9609~mv2.png Once installed, the functions are activated in the Analyze Add-On menu.

To change language on SPSS go to the Edit-> Options -> Language

Repeat the operations until you have entered all the codes of the additional modules received. Click Next. • A green message will appear in case of successful activation, red otherwise. In the event of an error, write to assistance@spss.it by inserting a screenshot of the error.

To change the style of the tables go to Edit-> Options -> Pivot Tables

You can see the extended version of SPSS installed by going to the Help-> About menu. In the window that opens, at the bottom left, there is the version information (for example 26.0.0.1 is version 26 with FixPack 1 installed).
