SPS (formerly SPSS Italia) has been operating for over twenty years as an Italian centre of expertise in statistical data analysis.
Today it can count on a team of professionals specialising in Data Science, counting among its clients numerous Italian universities, specialised research centres within hospitals, public administrations, associations, private bodies and numerous companies.

The company currently manages over 500 contracts.
The company's growing experience enables it to provide its clients with an increasingly professional approach to existing services (Sales Consulting, Technical Support, Technical Advice, Training&Consultancy), and to offer new ones (Seminar and Webinar presentation, On-line Training) with the aim of supporting clients in using SPSS solutions, interpreting analysis results and extracting information from an increasingly large amount of data.
In 1994, SPSS Italia S.r.l. was founded, a distributor authorised by SPSS Inc. for the exclusive sale of the SPSS product suite in Italy.
In 2009, SPSS Inc. was acquired by IBM and SPSS Italia S.r.l. became an IBM Advanced Business Partner.
On 21 January 2014, the company changed its name to SPS S.r.l.
In 2015 SPS became an IBM Premier Business Partner
In 2017 SPS became, and still is, an IBM Gold Business Partner, also obtaining the Expert level certificate in Data Science & Business Analytics (Certifications).
